The manufacturer’s page is now here: Manufacturers – NZ Model Railway Guild (thejournal.nz)
Our medium-term strategy is to build The Journal’s shop capability so that manufacturers who don’t have a web presence can make use of the Guild’s presence to find customers.

3 Foot 6 Models update: work on the DG class corrections continues, with two major changes / corrections to the model made:
– Cab and rear of the locomotive now taper in, rather than being flag
– Front cab windows are now angled, as on the prototype, and not flat.
Work continues on the KiwiRail DM class, for everyone with a pre-order watch this space!

That drawing has something odd going on. It’s been compressed somewhat around the centre porthole window which is rendered oval. Other features in that vertical alignment are similarly distorted.

DM class update: with the arrival of the first two prototype DM class locos, it’s time to (finally!) get this design completed – I’ve made several modifications to the shell, including thickening the walls and adding extra stays, as well as some detail corrections now I’ve seen some decent close-up photos – the anti-climbers are indeed quite far out from the cab!
